Lemon muffins
Ingredients for 8 pcs:
- 1 package of butter 200 g.
- 100 g. marzipan
- 150 g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 lemons
- 80 g. wheat flour
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. vanilla sugar
- 2 tsp. birches (can be omitted)
- 1/2 tsp. salt

How to
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees
- Whip the soft butter in a mixer e.g.
- Grate the marzipan on a grater
- Mix all the wet ingredients into the butter + sugar. Beat until combined.
- Now add the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, salt and birch)
- Pour the mixture into a rubber muffin tin, it does not need to be greased as there is plenty of butter in it and the tin will release easily.
- Bake the cakes for 25 min.
- Let them cool completely before topping with icing
